Thin Slab
Floor reinforcement with Thin Slab
Sometimes it may be necessary to reinforce floors using a low-thickness slab. Al-fer has designed the line of dry slab connectors with a head of only 27 mm for concrete with a thickness of at least 30 mm. The Al-fer dry connector with thin head is used for the consolidation of existing floors made of:
It is laid directly over the floor boards/hood/metallic profile and makes the beam collaborate with the new thin concrete slab above.
The benefits of an Al-fer dry connector
Thin thickness reinforcement
Recovery of the existing floor without demolition
Resin-less (Dry) intervention

Comply with the minimum height of the spaces
Highly competitive cost impact
Reliable execution by unskilled labour

The Al-fer dry connector system improves the connection technique of mixed wood/concrete floors in terms of practicality, simplicity and economy.
It is a single piece – no plates, double screws or pylons – compact and powerful in its hold. A dry system without resins, whose ease of installation makes it unique.
Thanks to the particular conical thread with reverse adaptation, on average 5/6 connectors per square metre must be laid, thus being economically advantageous compared to similar systems.
